I personnaly like Om Gud vill a lot ; it takes place in Stockholm during the hot summer 1975 and... I won't ruin the whole story before you've ssen it ;-)

All shot in black & white, it's beautifully filmed, starring the equally beautiful Nina Persson (frontwoman of swedish band The Cardigans).

If you have a movie that you are already familiar with (e.g. "Finding Nemo") you can probably get a hold of it with here in Sweden and then watch it with a Swedish audio and with English subtitle or the other way around. That way you maight learn the language easier since you are already familiar with the movie and its content/language.

I would like to recommend the swedish movie "Änglagård" and as a native I think that's one of the best swedish movies ever made. It's recorded quite idyllic on the swedish countryside (that foreigners tend to like) as well. Directed by Colin Nutley. http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0105916/
